Ride London - we got two teams!!

Prudential Ride London - team entries - we've got two! Woo hoo! The Mixed team is in, so that's Fiona and Catherine plus two chaps. We've also got one other team, which can be all blokes, mixed or all women. As everyone else who put themselves forward is, in fact, a bloke, then that means we have places for 6 of the 10 chaps. IVT, Stephen, Sean and Fletch ( Andrew Fletcher) only want to enter if they all get in - then there's me, Seb, Luke, Alan, Gareth and Adam who aren't bothered, which makes drawing for places a bit tricky if we're going to make it fair - anyone got any ideas how we can do that? The issue is if we put all 10 blokes in the hat and (say) Sean's name comes out first, that accounts for 4 of the 6 places immediately. The successful people then have to pay their £48 entry and complete their own entry form (so effectively you're entering as individuals anyway). Don't forget you have to be available to go down to London the day before to register, and the ride starts from 6am - so you'll need somewhere to stay. I'm sure everyone is, but you need to be an individual British Cycling member and not have already got in through the ballot. Can everyone please confirm that they still want to ride (and do please check you're going to be available on 9/10 August - you can't give your place to someone else once you've entered) and then we can think how we can do an equitable draw for the 6 spaces - all ideas welcome! Here's a thought - we put the 6 guys who aren't bothered who they ride with in a hat and draw out 2 to ride in the mixed team.  That then leaves 4 of them, plus Iain, Fletch, Sean and Steve.  We then simply toss a coin - heads Iain etc take the male team place, tails the other guys all get in.
