It appears from the comments on FB that there maybe some interest in a club trip to the Manchester Velodrome.
I'm assuming most people won't be able to make the 5 pm weekday session (I know I can't) so we are limited to the weekend sessions - 5-6 pm Sat and Sun.
Currently the Saturday & Sunday public sessions are booked up until 15th November, but are relatively free from then on - although with the Commonwealth games track events starting tomorrow the expectation is that these will fill up quickly.
Public sessions are £15 (inc bike hire) + £5 if you need shoes.
The alternative to a public session is a private hire, this is £185 (weekdays, available between 8-10 pm) or £240 (weekends). This means in order to cost the same as a pubic session we would need 16 people (for a weekend) or 12 (for a weekday). Obviously we can do a private hire with less people, but the cost per person goes up.
So what do people think; any takers?
